Many people now have an office within their homes, some are the main hub of a business, others are a private office were people can work in the peace and quiet of their own home. When decorating your home office it is important to create a calm professional environment where you will be able to concentrate.

When choosing your office furniture you need to consider the nature of the work you will be carryingout and plan your furniture accordingly, take into consideration mobility and adaptability. 

Make a list of furniture that you need and then plan your space around that, this will make sure you don’t buy any items you don’t want or need. obviously the most important piece you will buy is the desk it will be the focal point of the room and will also need to be the most functional.

Firstly make sure your desk matches the interior of your office, choose a right size desk not only for the office but for the purpose it will be used for. A good desk will usually have plenty of storage space and a flat surface to work on, with enough room for your computer phone and any other items you need.

Choose a chair with a supportive back and adjustable height, make sure your desk has enough room for legs to fit underneath comfortably.

It will help to choose a desk that will be easy to clean and maintain. There are many style of desk such as a computer desk reception desk etc think about what you will be using the desk for then pick the style.
